Finance lane

You know what you are owed before you have to ask.

The finance lane sends the invoices, chases the late ones in language you approved, and keeps a live picture of cash so you are not finding out on the fifteenth.

One config, written from your answers, drives every node on every lane.

What today looks like

You already know how this part goes.

Invoices go out late because invoicing is the last thing anyone wants to do at 9pm.

Chasing a late payment feels awkward, so it quietly does not happen.

You find out cash is tight during the week it is already tight.

The nodes on this lane

Each one handles its piece the way you would.

Every node reads the same config. When your answer changes, the behaviour changes with it.

  1. 01

    Invoicer

Raises the invoice the day the work is done, with the detail your customers actually ask about.

  2. 02

    Collector

Sends the polite reminder on day three, the firmer one on day ten, and tells you when it is time for a phone call.

  3. 03

    Cash view

One picture, updated every morning: what came in, what went out, what is due and when.

  4. 04

    Signal

Tells you a slow month is forming while you can still do something about it.

A day on this lane

What it actually does while you work.

  1. 6:30 am

Your morning number is waiting: collected yesterday, outstanding today, due this week.

  2. 9:00 am

Yesterday's completed jobs are invoiced and sent, with photos attached where you asked for them.

  3. 12:00 pm

Two invoices cross day ten. Both get the firmer reminder. One of them gets paid an hour later.

  4. 3:20 pm

A customer over your threshold goes quiet. The lane stops reminding and puts them on your call list.

  5. 5:30 pm

A note lands that next week is lighter than the last three, with the jobs that would fix it.

What it plugs into

It works inside the tools you already pay for.

  • Stripe, Square, or the processor you take payment on
  • QuickBooks or Xero
  • Your bank feed, read only
  • Email and SMS for reminders

If something you rely on has no way in, we tell you during the consultation rather than after you have signed.

Guardrails

What it will never do without you.

  • It never moves money. It prepares, reminds and reports.
  • Reminder tone is yours, approved in writing before anything sends.
  • Anything past your threshold waits for you rather than escalating on its own.

What we ask you

A real sample from the finance consultation.

There are a lot more than five. These are the ones that shape the most of your config, so you can see what kind of answers we are after before you sit down with us.

  1. Q1How do you invoice today, and what part always slips?
  2. Q2How long do you let an invoice sit before you say something?
  3. Q3What do you want the first reminder to sound like, word for word?
  4. Q4Which customers get handled differently, and why?
  5. Q5What is the one number you actually want to see every morning?

Questions about this lane

Does it have access to my bank?

Read only, and only if you want the cash view. It cannot move money, and that is a hard limit in the platform rather than a setting you could turn off by accident.

What if a customer disputes something?

The lane stops the reminder sequence and hands it to you with the history attached. Disputes are yours.

Will it annoy my good customers?

You set who gets treated gently and who gets the full sequence. Most owners have a short list of people who get a call from them instead, and the lane respects it.
